Pelvic Health Podcast
Being Better’s Podcast: The Pelvic Pulse
Why Did Being Better Start a Podcast?
1 in 7 women have pelvic pain, 1 in 4 have menstrual irregularities, 1 in 10 have infertility problems, and many struggle with creating a healthy sex life as well as big life transitions such as pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and menopause.
Many women don’t know how to seek support in these areas of their lives and often feel alone or embarrassed navigating through these experiences. The Pelvic Pulse is here to change that.
This podcast is here to tackle the so-called “taboo” things us women sometimes feel ashamed to talk about and provide a safe space to revolutionize how we all talk about and understand women’s pelvic health.

Get ready to get real with Javiera Sobarzo who is on a mission to shift how we talk about, think about, and experience the birth of our children. She shares the incredible progression of exposure to the birth world from a young age all the way through the beautiful details of her home and free births, and everything in between. We're so grateful to share her story in the hopes to remind you that our bodies can heal, that birth is an innate and empowering experience, and that our connection to the earth cannot be separated.

007: Functional Medicine for Periods, Fertility and Postpartum with Dr. Miranda Naylor
Here's a little early Earth Day love in the form of an enriching conversation between Dr. B and her sweet guest, Dr. Caileen Vermilyea, an EMT-turned-holistic naturopathic doctor and herbalist who studies, honors and utilizes the power of plants and nature to heal, with a focus in today's episode on those with monthly cycles. She beautifully connects our inner landscape of our bodies to our outer landscape, Mother Earth, and teaches us how we can look at what's provided for us a bit differently so that we can truly walk in tune with nature and ourselves in a healthy way.
